Uldaman anyone?
Uldaman is a great instance, and we had a ton of fun there. There were benefits for everyone (including those wacky enchanters), good loots, and some real tactical battles. I haven’t seen an end fight this fun since some of the later EQ raids.
First up to bat was Ironaya, who is apparently a huge Indiana Jones fan. She only came out to play after we connected the headpiece to the staff and properly lit the model in the map room…

Next up was Galgann Firehammer, who even with his friends trying to gank us during the fight was no problem.

Then there was the Ancient Stone Keeper, who actually came into the fight dead. We’re just that fearsome, I guess.

Here’s a picture of a butt.

(I guess he had heard from the other bosses and knew his fate.)
Then came the real fun of the night. Archaedas, who starts out as a huge statue surrounded by about 100 other statues…

…proceeds to wake up and deal out the whippins, two bits apiece. Better yet, at certain elapsed times, he zaps the other statues to life, a group at a time. It was tricky to maintain consistent damage on the boss while not letting our casters get eaten by the adds (who weren’t easy themselves). If you’re actually doing this at the level you’re supposed to (mid 40’s), you need some tactical planning to pull it off…

…unless you’re the LoOnies, of course. No ugly lump of coal can show us what’s up, unless we’re on the dealing end of the pain. He fell to our might, and almost crushed Iraas in the process:
