Misc. LoOny News

The Little People

It’s holiday season once again all across the Horde! Mistletoe has been hung, lights have been strung, and snowball fights are breaking out everywhere. So far my only misgiving is that the Christmas quests are the same as the ones we had last year. Ah well, perhaps we can include requests for new quests in our Christmas letters to Great-father Winter.

Great-Father Winter

It doesn’t matter where you go, it seems that the holiday spirit has taken everyone by storm. Even our retarded folk have been brought to Orgrimmar for a fun evening out of the care center, so they can partake in the festivities.

He needs refule!

In other news around the Horde, it turns out that Whoop Azz Pvp had their name changed by a GM for having the word “Azz” in it. Of course we were curious to know what they had picked for a new guild name, seeing as how they had come up with the amazingly awesome “Whoop Azz PvP” in the first place (surely, a name worthy of both envy and respect), we knew that their newest moniker would be just as ingenious as the first. Venti even offered up his own suggestion.

Scratch Azz PvP

As it turns out, all their creative juices were used up with their first incarnation.

Rafiki

That’s right, folks. This is Rafiki, and he is the guild leader of the Whoop Azz Guild. In a pinch, he went with the new name, “Rafiki’s Guild”. It’s equivalent to being “Moe” and naming your diner “Eat at Moe’s”. And quite frankly, who wants to have “Eat at Moe’s” above their head? My guess is Moe, and that’s about it. Actually, I’m just trying to be nice and I don’t know why — “Eat at Moe’s” would be 100x more cool than “Rafiki’s Guild”. I’m thinking these guys will disappear even more quickly than Pretty in Pink. And they had pink tabards. I know, because I had one.

And now for the LoOny news.

We have some promotions in the house! Congratulations to our newly promoted officers:

Grimvalt
Iraas

And congratulations to our newly promoted Veterans:

Caracarn
Shae
Venti

When Iraas was given the good news, the first order of the evening was to fire everyone. I should have gotten a screenshot, but I had just been fired so I didn’t think it was worth the effort.

On to the pwning news.

As you know, Barathron has been going after Lord Incendius for the Ace of Elementals, the last card he needed to complete his deck. Bara admits that, given his curent gear situation, he was having a difficult time soloing it himself. (It’s ok Bara, you’re leet in abilities!) So, he and Koryn’s rogue-self teamed up to kill Incendius over and over and over again. They were having no luck until finally, an Ace dropped! They had one last opportunity to go into the instance that evening, so it was decided that they would go back and try Incendius one more time.

two aces in a row

Two aces in a row. Grats Bara and Koryn! (Sorry about the small & fuzzy picture quality. I asked Bara to send me an SS, and this was what I got.) His reward is a Darkmoon Faire quest item – the Darkmoon Card: Maelstrom that gives the wearer a chance to strike a melee target with 200 – 300 Nature Damage. Bara has had to purchase most of his other cards at AH, so he’s totally broke, but a happy camper. Congrats to both Bara and Koryn.

We also have some new recruits to the guild. We would like to give a hearty welcome to Zugzugdaman Jr. and Arachne Jr.

Zug Jr.arachne

They look so much our Zug, don’t they? I can totally see the family resemblance.

In other news, Autumnwolf kills kittens.

AW kills kittens

Weird. I thought she liked kittens. Just goes to show that no matter how long you’ve known someone, they can still surprise you.

That’s all for LoOny news. Stay tuned.
