What is it with the Alliance and idiot hunters? Meet Alorwind, a hunter of “Strength In Honor.” She – or he – is dumb. Really dumb.
So there I am, running through STV along the path headed toward Booty Bay. And I was minding my own business this time. Really, I was. And out of nowhere, I get a whisper from Alorwind.
He’s pretty damn lucky I wasn’t Arcadi, because with that bad grammar, syntax and spelling, Arcadi would have said yes, and then run him straight to Onyxia’s Lair. The odd thing about the request is that I was only in my mid-30′s, and I think Alorwind was a little higher level than me. We were almost to Booty Bay anyway, so all he had to do was just hop the boat and run to the zone. It’s not that difficult. For normal people, anyway.
Very shortly after that dialogue, Alorwind flies right by me wearing hunter speedy-feet.
Now I’m eating Alorwind’s dust, but not for long. Coming up the path towards us is the Tauren NPC who paths up and down the STV road. As Alorwind runs by, she takes a stab at the unsuspecting Tauren. She doesn’t like being poked, and she hits back.
I crack up laughing as Alorwind gets stunned repeatedly by the Tauren. Because, you know, when you get attacked while wearing speedy-feet, you will be stunned. I know this because it’s in the spell description. Anyone who can read would also have known. This is most likely an issue for Alorwind. As a bonus, because she attacked this NPC, her pvp flag turns on. I wasn’t in the mood for that, because I wasn’t currently interested in my low-level, cloth-wearing butt getting ganked. Alorwind seemed very interested in that though, because she started begging me for heals. When I kept refusing, she then wanted to be shielded – like that was any better.

Before I can wonder what part of “No” she didn’t understand, here comes the name calling:

OH, YOUR NAME CALLING STINGS ME GREATLY! HOLD BACK YOUR ANGER, MADAME WHO IS PROBABLY REALLY A SIR!
Let me offer this up to you all: If you are so retarded that you can’t solo an upper-30′s hunter against a weak 30′s NPC, you should cancel your account and play something else. And by “something” I mean a game that doesn’t involve other humans who would have to endure your stupidity.
And now for the LoO/TAB News:
Things are progressing in the guild and overall we are doing well. That probably sounds like stupid PR fluff considering we have lost a couple of people recently, but it’s true. This kind of thing happens in the normal ebb and flow of gamedom. Anyone who has played an online game before knows this is just how things can go at times. It can be discouraging, but for every one person we lose, we gain another so it all evens out. Speaking of which – I know I should have mentioned this earlier, but Cara’s back.

And for those of you who don’t know: Cara = teh win. In related news, Caul still isn’t putting in spaces between the period and the beginning of his next sentence.
Really, don’t worry about the guild. Things haven’t changed… much.

See?
We currently have a solid group of 60′s, with some 50′s who are quickly moving up as well. However, we are starting to lack in cohesiveness. Because of this, it is time to institute a raid night. We’re looking for feedback from everyone on what night works best. If you plan on raiding with the guild regularly and the raid night will apply to you in the next couple of months, please pop over to that thread and weigh in with what is better for your schedule. At the time of this post, it looks like Friday is better. We’ll see, though. Also, please be sure that you read the loot policy.
The focus of the guild right now is to level everyone up to 60 so we can raid together. Those who are currently 60 should focus on finishing up quests and upgrading their armor. Raid zones will probably be standard LoO-raid zones for the time being. At least, that’s my guess. For more information on raid planning, you should probably see Caul or Zug. They would definitely have a better idea about groups and raids than the rest of us.

Also, we are still struggling to learn this crazy Alliance language.
We’re not good at it.
Lastly, Zug still sucks.

That’s all for now. Stay tuned for more updates.
